Our Last Day Wordles

Each student wrote a character trait that represents each person in our class.  They were put into a wordle for each student.  They loved hearing what their classmates think about them!  We are having a great last day!  A lot of memories, tears, hugs, tears, summer plans, tears and fun!

A Letter From Mrs. Pilliod

Dear Families,

I can’t believe this year has come to an end.  I want to say THANK YOU for sharing your child with me.  I have enjoyed every day we spent together.  It is amazing to watch them grow!  This time of year always brings mixed emotions. I am excited to spend more time with Charlie but sad to let this group of students go. However, I am confident that they are more than ready for 3rd grade!
Many things this year would not have been possible without the help and support from you.  Thank you for everything you have done for me, our class and your child!  This poem, by Maria Munson, does a great job of summing up the feelings I have about the end of the year.

Great Expectations

It’s time to say, “Good-bye.”
Our year has come to an end.
I’ve made more cherished memories
And many more new friends.
I’ve watched your children learn and grow
And change from day to day.
I hope that all the things we’ve done
Have helped in some small way.
So it’s with happy memories
I send them out the door,
With great hope and expectations
For what next year holds in store.

-          by Maria Cuellar-Munson

Thanks again for all your help and support this year!  Please don't be a stranger- stop by to say hello and update me about your child throughout the years.

Sincerely,
Kristin Pilliod
