We had a great field trip to Shaw Nature Reserve on Friday. It may have been a little wet but everyone had a great time! We learned about animals and plants native to Missouri. We searched for, collected and then released bugs and spiders. They played games and got to see some skulls, shells and furs of animals. Here are a few (or a lot) pictures from our trip. Thank you to Mrs. Waddell, Mrs. Barton and Mrs. Beach for joining us this time! I love looking through these pictures and seeing the friendships and bonds that have formed this year. It is really hard to believe that this year is coming to a end. BUT we have lots of learning left to do - I will try to share as much of it as possible because this time in 2nd grade is my favorite!
