WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE!

I am so excited to start our journey this school year!  I hope to meet many of you at Supply Drop, tomorrow, August 4th.  Here is a little bit about myself from my webpage...

I have been married to my husband CJ for 8 years. We have a 4 1/2 year old son, Charlie and a 4 month old daughter, Taylor.  Lucy is our 10 year old yellow lab. I enjoy writing stories for the kids with Lucy and Charlie as the stars of these stories. I am excited to add Taylor to the stories this year! We love to go on walks and play in the park.  In my free time I love to shop, read a good book, cook and spend time with family and friends.

This is my 11th year teaching. I have spent all of those years as a teacher at Claymont. I taught kindergarten for two years and this marks my ninth year in second grade. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, GO TIGERS!  I graduated from Lindenwood University with a graduate degree in Special Reading. 

I really enjoy working at Claymont; it is a great place to be!
