Brainstorming Ideas for Small Moments

In writing we started our personal narrative - small moment unit.  Earlier this week the students thought of a place where they spend a lot of their time - house, pool, soccer field, neighborhood, etc. They drew a map of that place and wrote down memories they have.  Then we shared our memories and stories with each other.  We can't wait to begin planning and writing these stories next week!  

We also started our new science unit, States of Matter.  This week the students have explored melting solids, mixing and separating liquids and solids and learning about properties.
