Dear New Families,
I hope you had a great
summer! My family and I have been very
busy. Mr. Pilliod, Charlie and I moved
into a new house in June. We visited
some of my favorite St. Louis attractions such as the Zoo, Grant’s Farm and
Botanical Gardens. In July, we traveled to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Charlie loved the beach and ocean. I can’t wait to hear
all about your adventures when school starts on August 12th.
I
know you are going to enjoy second grade and all of the wonderful things we will
do. One of my favorite units is learning about the life cycle of the
butterfly. We will watch caterpillars
grow and change into butterflies. We
will also learn cursive, go on a few field trips and read a lot of great
books. It is going to be an exciting and
fun year!
I
look forward to having you in second grade. I hope you enjoy your last few days of summer.
